LIMITED EDITION OF 500 ON WHITE VINYL

"Departure" 7" is a limited edition white vynil including two tracks mixed by Pete Kember aka Sonic Boom, legendary British producer and musician (Spacemen 3, E.A.R., Spectrum). “Departure” is an acid ballad previously released as b-side of “Paint This City”, second single out from debut-album “Departure”. “Let Me Out”, already known as part of “Arrival EP” is a psychotic heavenly mini-suite where they tribute their nostalgic psychedelic soul as disciples and successors of The Velvet Underground and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Il 7" "Departure" in uscita in 500 copie in vinile bianco, raccoglie due tracce già edite nella loro versione mixata da Peter Kember alias Sonic Boom, membro fondatore della formazione inglese di culto degli Spacemen 3, titolare degli Spectrum e produttore di MGMT e Panda Bear.
La prima, “Departure”, già pubblicata come b-side di “Paint This City”, secondo singolo dell’LP d’esordio distribuito da Sonic Cathedral, è una ballad agrodolce erede del revival psichedelico di The Brian Jonestown Massacre e Spacemen 3, fatta di chitarre desertiche, linee vocali alienate.
La seconda, “Let Me Out”, presente nell’EP “Arrival” uscito per l’etichetta spagnola Ayo Silver! Originally, è una mini-suite stridente da nipoti dei Velvet Underground, con la forza rievocativa dei Galaxie 500.
“Departure” 7” è una sorta di estensione del loro LP d’esordio, fatta per il “50% da follia e per il restante 50% da rigore, con due psych-tune in bianco e nero” spiega Jared Artaud, voce e chitarra del duo.
