Dirty Beaches has recorded the titletrack during a night marathon at Duna Studio after his show at Bronson in Ravenna. The outcome is a noir and gloomy song, halfway between dream and nightmare, that would fits perfectly in a David Lynch's movie soundtrack. The second track is originally written by Slim Harpo, as a b-side song of his debut-single 'I Got Love If You Want It”. 'I'm A King Bee” actually achieved more success and in this cover preserves its bluesy mood. Dirty Beaches' voice and his distortions make this song an amazing, modern blues piéce. Alex Zhang Hungtai formerly known by his stage name Dirty Beaches (from 2015 he's known as Last Lizard) is a Taiwanese-born Canadian vocalist and composer based in Montreal. He released a number of EPs and instrumental-focused albums on cassette-only labels, before releasing the full-length masterpiece 'Badlands' back to 2011.
After the release of Badlands and a number of EPs and collaborations, Dirty Beaches recorded a double LP called 'Drifters/Love Is The Devil' (2013) and an instrumental LP called 'Stateless' (2014).

Dopo il concerto al Bronson, ha scritto e registrato in una maratona notturna al Duna Studio questo pezzo. Il risultato è una canzone con un mood noir e tetro, al limite fra l’incubo e il sogno, perfetta per la colonna sonora di una pellicola di David Lynch.Scritta e registrata da Slim Harpo, la canzone fu pubblicata come B side per il suo singolo di debutto “I Got Love If You Want It”, ma riscosse maggior successo dell’ A side. La cover registrata da Dirty Beaches (nel suo appartamento di Vancouver) mantiene il sentimento blues originale, ma proprio la peculiarità della voce di Alex e il suo uso delle distorsioni la rendono un'esaltante canzone di blues moderno. Alex Zhang Hungtai, un tempo come Dirty Beaches (dal 2015 ha cambiato nome in Last Lizard) è un compositore e vocalist canadese originario di Taiwan. Ha pubblicato numerosi EP e album strumentali priam del suo capolavoro del 2011, 'Badlands'. Dopo questo album e ulteriori EP e collaborazioni ha registrato il doppio LP “Drifters/Love Is The Devil” (2013) e un LP instrumentale, 'Stateless' (2014).
