LIMITED EDITION OF 500

Ronin released this 500 copies limited edition 7” as a tribute to a legendary soundtrack composer such as Angelo Badalamenti and his wonderful works for Twin Peaks tv show by David Lynch. The band offers two of the most notable themes in this tribute album. The main (also known as 'Falling') preserves its typical melancholy and glum atmosphere. On the other hand 'Laura Palmer's Theme''s rework by Ronin discloses a playful mood, like some old-fashioned music from a 50s ballroom. Ronin is an instrumental band founded back to 1999 by Bruno Dorella, multi-instrumentalist producer and Italian noise icon known as member and founder of Wolfango, OvO and Bachi da Pietra. Originally from Milan, he's now based in Ravenna where Bronson Produzioni was born in 2004. Ronin published 5 LP's and many other recordings across post-rock, experimental music e alt-rock/songwriting.

Per questa edizione limitata a 500 copie, con copertina d’autore (Gianluca Costantini) i RONIN si confrontano con un gigante delle colonne sonore come Angelo Badalamenti, col suo capolavoro “Twin Peaks”, regia di David Lynch. I due temi riproposti sono quello principale (“Falling”), suonato con le lacrime agli occhi in un bagno di nostalgia e di ricordi, e quello di Laura Palmer, reinterpretato in maniera un po’ più irriverente, come se ad un certo punto ci si ritrovasse ad ascoltare musica da una Ballroom degli anni 50. Il progetto RONIN è nato nel 1999 da un'idea Bruno Dorella, polistrumentista e produttore simbolo del noise italiano (Wolfango, OvO, Bachi da Pietra), milanese ma ormai ravennate d’adozione. I Ronin danno vita tra le tante pubblicazioni a cinque LP di culto in dieci anni, tra post-rock, sperimentazioni e alternative-rock cantautorale.
